Welcome to Wazo Release Note Documentation!
This update contains an important technical improvement that prevent phone system to be blocked due to a certificat expriration.
- Certificat: Remove SSL between asterisk and amid
Stacks deployed since 2020 (version 20.01 and above) have a self-signed certificate valid for 825 days. Depending on when you installed your stacks, it's starting to be possible for those certificates to expire.
If your self-signed certificate expires then your phone system will no longer be able to function properly.
It is important that you are in control of the expiry date of the certificates of your stacks.
Please follow the first step of this procedure to know the expiry date of the certificate.
In order not to be impacted by this certificate expiry, we recommend that you update your Stack to version 22.07. Through this version and subsequent ones, the self-signed certificate will no longer be necessary.
We are continuously improving the portal to provide you with greater infrastructure management capabilities. We are currently analyzing the best way to provide you with effective tools for managing your certificates through Portal.
As a reminder, a valid SSL certificate is always required to be able to use Wazo applications.
