Improvements
Conference enhanced
We are glad to introduce you this major upgrade that significatly enhanced the conference experience.
Please read this documentation to activate this functionnaity.
Video conference (beta)
The majorest upgrade of the conference is the new possibility to perform video between Wazo users in conference rooms.
This feature is declared beta: We are looking on more feedback about the feature and are working to increase its stability.

Screen sharing view
Here are functionnalities now accessible with introduction of video conference:
- Screen sharing
- Full screen visualization
- Capacity to pin/unpin user video feed. It help to focus on one specific user.
User starting screen sharing is automatically pined - Capacity to change each user video ratio between maximized and uncroped mode.
The ratio is set by default to maximized except for screen sharing that is set to uncroped
Collaborative chat
Wazo Web and Desktop applications now offer to Wazo users the possibility to chat when they are in a conference room.
This functionnality is available in both audio or video conference call.
Please note that chat messages are not persistant: User cannot see chat messages sent before they join the conference room. User leaving a conference do not have access anymore to the conference chat history.
Raise hand
Wazo users have now access to a new functionnality that consistes to raise hand.
This functionnality is available in both audio or video conference call.
It helps user to get attention on themself. It can be used to ask a question or if a user want to ask to talk without interrupting the discussion.
User can raise their hand and down others hand.
Know who is talking and who is muted
Wazo users have now access to a new functionnality that consistes to know which user are muted or talking.
This functionnality is available in both audio or video conference call.
Know who is talking can help to focus attention on the good camera or to mention to a participant that it's microphone is on and which disturb the meeting due to background noise.
Know who is muted can help to mention to a participant he cannot been heard.
New call experience
Wazo Web and Wazo Desktop have upgraded the way call are managed.
Active calls visualization has been improved
A toolbar is visible when moving the mouse.
All call actions are easily accesible from it:
- Mute
- Hold
- Dialer
- Transfer
- Participants (in conference)
- Merge (when having more than one call)
- Record
- Chat
- Hangup
- Access to audio and video parameters
Improve and simplify the way incoming call are displayed
The call will no longer disrupt the user and the caller won't be notice of the action.
Incoming call are now display as a pop-up into the application.
It is now possible to ignore incoming call by clicking on close into this pop-up

Know how much call are active when left menu is reduced
The phone icon display a number that correspond to the number of active calls
Call Center multi line
Agents can now specify on wich line (WebRTC, SIP, SCCP) they want to receive call from queues.
When a user login as an agent into Wazo Web or Desktop application, call are distributed to the agent selected line.

Switchboard - Activate audio notification for incoming call
Operator from switchboard can now activate audio notification for incoming call.
Notifications can be accuratly parametered depending of the need :
- All time : Audio notification for all incoming call into Switchboard
- Audio notification only when incoming queue is not empty anymore
- Audio notification during call
Ad-Hoc Conference
The functionnity is now in production version.
It help to merge calls in an Ad-Hoc conference.

Other Improvements
Increase responsivity
Wazo Web and Desktop applications are now more efficient. It significativaly reducing slowness for user having long call history.

Wifi change
It is now possible to change Wifi during a call without interruption.
Display a top ban warning when using another browser than Chrome
Although Wazo web application is only supported on Chrome browser, it can be used on other browsers. A top warning ban is now display if Wazo Web application is used on another browser than Chrome.
New Audio and Video source configuration
We upgrade the way to parameter Audio and Video source configuration.
It is now accessible into Parameter menu.
The camera configuration now display the feed in real time.
Technical
- Desktop application now used Electron 9.1.1
- Change the way we deduct DND
It Allow to display the good presential even if DND is set directly from phone - Rename GPO package to "Wazo Desktop" instead of "Songbird"

- Video 1-1 - Problem when having a second call
- Cannot relocate from CTI to WebRTC
